這首歌是主唱要離開鄉下，去城裡追求自己音樂事業的時候寫的。Second Chance的意思是說，跟家人分開，反而是讓關係變好的機會。其實人長到二十多歲了，還沒看到能做出什麼來，留在家裡啃老，自然會惹爸媽嫌棄囉！所以，這時一定要有壯士斷腕的決心，離開自己的舒適圈，去冒險犯難，全力拼搏一番，就算最後失敗了，但至少還能贏得家鄉屁孩的尊敬……XD
