主唱長年受各種身心疾病折磨，這首歌是描寫人在善惡之中的掙扎，與惡念共處的人，他心中的痛苦。他有理想，當要當個好人，但是心中的惡念，一直糾纏著他，特別是在環境惡劣的時候。
最大的問題是「欲望」。人心中的慾望，就跟魔鬼一樣，似乎是與生俱來，無法壓抑，永不滿足。「慾望」甚至能一步步的帶人走向極惡。
歌裡雖然把自己唱成冷血的硬漢，但是最後卻像宅男般的呼救：「如果有個善良的美女愛我，施捨我一點溫柔，也許我就能嚐嚐當好人的感覺了…」
