這首歌描繪人五人六的我們，是如何對別人的苦難視而不見？一個平凡人要淪落至街頭，在現實勢利的社會，其實並不是很困難的事情。但事實上，又有誰敢帶一名街友回家，借他洗澡、請他吃一頓飯、再讓他睡一晚覺？我們連帶一隻流浪狗回家都做不到了。
並不是幫不了別人，就要假裝苦難不存在。你有沒有能力幫助別人是一回事，但消滅自己的同情心，劣化自己的人格，從此成為一個冷漠無情的人，則是另外一回事。
