乍聽之下，會以為這首歌是自殺前的遺言，但我聽來，只是像要和過去告別，讓自己重獲新生。但這首歌很不幸，就像瑪麗蓮曼森一樣，因為被加拿大的校園槍手寫在自己的部落格中，這首歌就被當成兇手自殺動機的一部份。但作者說，這首歌只是來自於他的夢，在夢中他夢見自己正在跟他媽說話。
